The View: Grandview Community & Fitness Center

The Grandview Community & Fitness Center, known locally as simply “The View,” is a state-of-the-art, $20 million complex in Grandview, MO.

The View opened in 2007 to provide high quality fitness programs, amenities, and services for all ages and was recently updated.

Fitness enthusiasts will enjoy The View’s new cardiovascular, circuit and free weight equipment. There’s also a natural stone rock climbing wall and group classes held in the large fitness studio. Get your steps in on the suspended walking track circling the gymnasium.

The aquatic area features options for exercise or family fun. Lap swimmers can log miles in the 25-yard pool while others relax in the leisure river pool complete with cascading waterfall. Kids love the zero-depth entry pool with interactive water features, and daredevils can zoom down the two-story water slide all summer long. Outside, a new splash park expands the water fun during Grandview’s warm months.

Beyond recreation, The View promotes community engagement by offering meeting and reception rental spaces. Events like art shows, summer camps for youth, and free public festivals amplify The View’s role as a versatile gathering place for all Grandview residents.

The View is operated by Grandview Parks & Recreation. Discounted memberships for Grandview residents and day passes are available.
